Set up a useful workshop break area
A clear table, an easy reach and room to leave the work behind.

Start with separation
Choose a place away from cutting, sanding, finishing supplies and workpiece movement. A clean area outside the shop may be the simplest option when space is limited.
Keep the table useful
Allow space for the drink plus the items you actually use on a break, such as a notebook. Avoid turning the drink area into overflow tool storage.
Make reaching straightforward
Sit down and test the reach with an empty container. The holder should be fully supported and comfortably away from the table edge.
Return to work deliberately
Leave the drink in the break area. Follow the tools’ instructions and restore your normal work setup before resuming the project.
